Welcome to Root & Resonance!

I'm Emme, a second-year master's student at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. I have over 10 years of experience singing classical, opera, and musical theater, and I teach beginner to advanced voice lessons to students aged 7 and up (including adults!). Your first lesson with me will always be a 30-minute free trial lesson so we can get to know each other!

At Root & Resonance, I want every student to feel the joy of singing with their authentic sound. Music is a powerful tool of expression and transformation, and I emphasize learning to enjoy the journey as much, if not more, than the final product. I chose the name Root & Resonance because I believe that we make our best sounds when we are grounded in both our minds and our bodies.
